At Angeles® we've got a bright new outlook for our BaseLine® tables & chairs: Primary colors! We've recently introduced four new colors: Candy Apple Red, Royal Blue, Shamrock Green and Canary Yellow. Primary colors have long been the choice of teachers and students because of their colorful and cheerful style. Couple this fun new color selection with the durability and design of Baseline® tables and chairs and they are perfect for any classroom setting!
Angeles® Baseline® Tables are lightweight and easy to move, and, as any teacher or parent can appreciate, they have easy-to-clean laminate surfaces. Each table features safe, rounded waterproof edges and the leg boots help to reduce noise and prevent rust marks on the floor because there are no exposed metal fasteners. And, don't forget, all Angeles® Baseline® Tables are backed with a 5-year warranty. (Tables are now available in 10 colors, four shapes, six tabletop sizes & six heights to meet the needs of every classroom from toddler to school age.)
Perfectly matched to the new tables are our durable Primary BaseLine® Chairs. These chairs stack easily for compact storage, and, just like their table counterparts, they are super easy to clean! Chairs are now available in 10 colors and five heights.
The newest additions to our BaseLine® line-up are a 5” H chair and 12”H table-- which are perfect for toddlers, and have been a huge hit at national and state conferences.
Angeles® Baseline® Tables and BaseLine® Chairs are perfect for classroom work, arts and crafts, meal time and fun time. Primary-colored accents are a great way add brightness to any room and children will love having furniture that is “just right” for them.

Cash for Clunkers: The Tricycle Version
We may have lost the Cash for Clunkers program prematurely because of its success among American auto dealers and car buyers, but we at Angeles® say, "Forget about the cars. What about the kids? Don't they deserve new wheels, too?" Our answer? "Cash for Clunkers: The Tricycle Version."
This back-to-school season, we've partnered with one of our "Super Dealers," Discount School Supply, to create our own "Cash for Clunkers" program, this time for kids. Our Cash for Clunkers gives buyers $25 off of the extremely popular SilverRider® trike line, starting August 31, 2009.
To take advantage of this back-to-school promotion, early childhood educators and parents can visit DiscountSchoolSupply.com and use the code CASH25 at checkout. No federal paperwork, no sending in old trikes, no red tape, just $25 toward a new ride. (However, we are reminding people to dispose of their clunkers responsibly.)
SilverRider® trikes have been staples in early childhood classrooms and in family homes' driveways across the country for decades. Because we at Angeles® provide parts for trikes as old as 30 years through our on-site expert Mr. Good Pedal, and because our trikes are built to last, we're confident not many of the "clunker trikes" out there carry the Angeles® name. Regardless, we'd like to follow the success of the national Cash for Clunkers program and help anyone looking to get a new "ride" for the kids in their care. We know a lot of people have old clunky trikes around and don't know what to do with them. We at Angeles® wanted to step in with this great opportunity during the back-to-school season to help people replace their clunkers with one of the best-selling trikes in America that will last for years to come.

Save Space with SpaceLine!
When dealing with classroom space, we hear from educators all the time that the challenge to every preschool teacher and child care provider is to make the most of their classroom space as possible. Saving classroom space with Angeles® SpaceLine® Cots and Activity Centers is easy!
Rest time products like mats and cots can take up valuable floor space, but Angeles® helps solve the problem of bulky cots with SpaceLine®. What do you do to store SpaceLine® Cots, you ask? STACK THEM!
Angeles® SpaceLine® Cots are specially designed so teachers can stack 20 cots in the same space 10 traditional cots would take, allowing more space in the classroom.
Our SpaceLine® Complete Cot Activity Center combines the Activity Top and Activity Panels with 20 stacked SpaceLine® Cots and to offer educators an added play area for the young children in the classroom, turning cot storage into an activity center. Or teachers can use the Activity Top on 10 stacked SpaceLine® Cots to create a table kids can use for all kinds of projects or open-ended creative play.
It's also a great value! Our Angeles® SpaceLine® Complete Cot Activity Center includes ALL of the following: 20 Standard SpaceLine® Cots, one peg activity board, a magnetic write-n-wipe activity panel with 30 magnetic letters, one preschool-block compatible activity panel with 36 MEGA® Bloks and one flannel board activity panel with 30 flannel shapes, as well as one activity top.

Army Strong
We are excited to announce that our Angeles® Never Flat "Fat Tire" Bye-Bye Buggy® was specified for use at U.S. Army base childcare facilities in 57 locations across the Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Europe and Korea, resulting in a shipment of 352 "Fat Tire" Bye-Bye Buggy® worldwide! We are so honored that our buggies were chosen for army childcare centers, and we’re proud to help support the efforts of those educators serving in the U.S. and overseas.
A little bit of buggy trivia: Our made-in-the-USA Original Bye-Bye Buggy® was first introduced in 1998 and the "Fat Tire" model launched in 2005. Angeles® Bye-Bye Buggies® and accessories were produced for use in early childhood education and care centers to help teachers and caregivers take groups of children outside without needing a stroller for each child. However, you will now find our buggies being used in a variety of different settings including schools, amusement parks and zoos.
In 2009 we added to our Bye-Bye line with the 4-Passenger SureStop™ Folding Commercial Bye-Bye™ Stroller. (Long name = Lots of features!) Coming in 2010 we will feature a 6-passenger version of the Bye-Bye™ Stroller, too!
For school, army, home (or zoo!) Angeles® buggies and strollers keep kids rolling in style!

Trike Play in the Bloggosphere
At Angeles we care about the health and safety of the children who use our products; it’s our #1 concern, and as a manufacturer of products for early childhood education and play we share concern for children’s health and safety nationwide. This is why we like to stay informed about the research and industry trends of early childhood development, active play and movement. We know that getting kids up and moving is an important key to health and happiness in early childhood, and we know active play is a crucial part of healthy child development, both physically and mentally.
If you too like to stay informed about the importance of active play and child development, we are happy to introduce you to Sharron Krull, a former preschool teacher and current early childhood active play expert. Sharron’s blog is always a trove of facts about the connections between active play and child development, and she offers educators, parents and caregivers ideas about how to incorporate active play into the daily routines of children. In her entry about trike play, we are honored that Sharron chose an Angeles trike as the starring image.
Angeles started with just one man selling trikes, and has continued to be the trusted name in trikes for over 50 years. It’s clear we know how important it is to build a quality trike that can stand the test of time-- but we want you to know we understand the importance of building products that children will use for play and physical activity. By bringing educators and parents better riding products we see ourselves investing in the healthy lives of children. Helping children of various abilities achieve their developmental potential through active play is at the heart of much of what we do at Angeles.

A New Site Feature!
We are excited to share with you a brand new feature of our Angeles website! We invite you to share with us your experiences with Angeles products. On the top of any product pages, you’ll see a link to "Share your thoughts about Angeles products."
Our goal is for you to tell us how you use our products and why you love (or don’t love—that’s OK, too) them.
Tell us what activities you do with trikes and other active play items to help enrich the development and education of the children for whom you care, whether in a preschool, early education center, at home or elsewhere. Tell us about your memories; perhaps, like many of us, you grew up with an Angeles trike in your own school or backyard. Let us know how long your Angeles trikes have been in service or tell us anything you might want to share; we’d love to hear from you!

Welcome!
Hello and welcome to the NEW Angeles blog! For the past 51 years the Angeles name has stood for quality, innovation and value in products for the early childhood marketplace and our new website is making it even easier for dealers, educators and parents to learn more about our unique products. We invite you to explore our website and to check back here, on our brand new blog, to get to know more about the products we offer, new products coming soon and the dedicated people behind the scenes here at Angeles.
Did you know Angeles started with just one man, Claude Tindell? In 1958, Claude began building tricycles and selling them school-to-school from the back of his station wagon. He made Angeles a success by promising quality, durability and lifetime service. Today that combination of personal attention and commitment to excellence is what continues to make Angeles a leading name in manufacturing for the early childhood classroom. With parts still available for trikes made more than 50 years ago, we at Angeles know that quality and exceptional service have kept us rolling strong. Trained Angeles associates help guide product owners through repairs, and customers may receive hands-on service for trikes from Mr. Good Pedal, a craftsman available for Lifetime Service Support on each trike.
Decades of customer feedback and experience are important contributors to every Angeles product, and we hope that this blog will become another way our customers can tell us about their experiences with Angeles items. Do you have questions about our growing product lines or want to tell us about your favorite items? Do you have suggestions or experiences you can share? If so, we would really appreciate hearing from you. We look forward to getting to know you.
